Bernie Wolfsdorf Installed as New President of AILA for the 2009-2010 Term
On June 3, 2009, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) announced Bernard Wolfsdorf as its new National President for the 2009-2010 term. He was installed as President during sessions of the association’s 53rd Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. During his installation speech, Wolfsdorf urged President Obama and Congress to work together to fix the nation’s broken immigration system and asked AILA membership to strive to pass comprehensive immigration reform this year.
